DAKAR PROJECT 2024/2025 – STEVE PERLINSKI

First of all, I want to thank you for clicking on this page or scanning the QR code that took you to this page!

It may be that my project interests you, that you want to support me or that you are simply curious.

This page is here to present my project and to allow me to put on paper the necessary means to achieve it.

Yes, I am looking for sponsors, but I am also looking for partners.

The financial contribution is important, but any participation will be crucial for the project to hold and come to fruition. Beyond a financial donation, if you wish to support me in my project, this can also result in a donation of equipment, a discount on equipment, the organization of events, exhibitions, raffle, sponsorship evenings…

That’s it, let’s now get down to business!

Who am I ? The pilot

I am Steve Perlinski, 37 years old, maintenance technician, married and father of a little boywe are 4 years old.

I am often told that I was not born on two legs, but on two wheels. My father, Bruno Perlinski, passed the virus on to me, and we started competing together in 2005.

At the age of 12, I took my first spin on a 350 Ducati at the Lezennes circuit (59).

At 14, I participated in the Continental Vario Moped Championship!

From the age of 18, I started competing and racing on official circuits.

I start with city races in Belgium then I participate3 times at the Bol d'Or Classic with my father and once at the 4h of Spa in Belgium.

Then, I tackle the French circuits.

The results will quickly appear: 2nd in Chimay on my Norton, victory at Le Mans, victory in Side Car in Chimay....

Then, the Titles will follow:

-2012, Vice-Champion of France VMA Classic on Norton Seeley 750cc

-2013, French VMA Classic Champion on Norton Seeley 750cc

-2014, 3rd French VMA Side-Car Triumph 810cc Championship

-2015, 3rd CRMC English Championship on Norton Seeley 750cc

-2016, British Champion CRMC on Nourish Seeley 750cc

-2017, French VMA Superbike Champion on CBR 900cc

-2021, Vice-Champion of France VMA Superbike on CBR 900cc

-2023, double French VMA Superbike Champion on CBR 900cc and Vintage on Yamaha Seeley 600cc

For me, motorcycling is above all the track, the race, the adrenaline of the starts. But it’s also everything else: mechanics, rallies, walks, and I canx even add the spirit and the rock! I have always liked road rallies with a road book, where only speed does not count, but also navigation and regularity.

But since almostAt the age of 20, I indulged my passion on the track, in races, going in circles for several laps with one goal: to finish first.

After more than 400 departures, I can say without bad puns that “I’ve been around it” and it’s time for me to put this aspect of my passion on hold to take on a new challenge, a new challenge.

That’s it, you know everything about me, let’s get on with the project!

The Africa Eco Race – The Project

Almost 40 years old, so today I'm launching into the Rally-Raid category!

I have a goal and it is set for 2025: The Africa Eco Race.

It’s a legendary rally, the original “Paris-Dakar”, before it moved abroad.

The departure is given in Monaco with an arrival 15 days later in Dakar. During this race, the driver crosses 5 countries and covers 6000 km in the sand over 12 stages.

So obviously, going from speed racing driver to Rally-Raid driver cannot be improvised! This is why even if the objective is the Dakar in 2025, I will have to devote 2024 to preparation and training!

2024 will therefore be an equally intensive year with the program of intensive sand driving and navigation courses, physical preparation and the first training Rallies-Raids (Morocco rally type).

During these two years, I want to share the adventure and the experience with all the people who have followed and supported me since my beginnings, but also with the general public thanks to social networks and my YouTube channel.

Here you know everything about my project, my challenge! Let’s move on to the last part, the crux of the matter… the budget.

How much is it ? The budget

The dream costs nothing, untilu realize it! Here are the main lines that make up the budget for this project:

The motorcycle: €10,000

Motorcycle consumables: €3000

Motorcycle equipment: €5,000

Pilot equipment: €3000

Africa Eco Race registration: €12,000

Registration for the preparation Rally-Raid: €5,000

Advanced training courses: €2000

Training days: €3000

To save you from adding up, I'll give you the final sum: €43,000!

This is the reason for my approach and for this explanatory page, the amounts become impressive. And as you may have read, I am neither a millionaire nor an heir, so I need all possible support to enable me to carry out my project!

If you wish to support me and participate, I will be able to provide you with rewards that we can define together, such as visibility on the networks, on my YouTube channel, on my website, on motorcycles, or even organize exhibitions. , stand outfits or exhibitions, etc.).

All this will of course be formalized in a sponsorship contract if you wish and can be signed by the Les Amis de la Moto association.

Thank you for reading me to the end, for your interest in my project and for your support, whatever it may be!

Don't hesitate to follow me on the networks and subscribe to the channel!

See you soon on the sand…

Steve Perlinski
